Tivoli Theater in Downers Grove. Celebrate two legends of Chicago Blues – Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf - with the Fabulous Thunderbirds featuring Kim Wilson. A wide range of blues artists will join the concert including James Cotton, JJ Grey, Bob Margolin and Jody Williams. Muddy and the Wolf are legends whose friendship/rivalry inspired the 1960’s British blues explosion as well as such hits as Spoonful, Mannish Boy, Rolling Stone and Smokestack Lighting.
