WDCB Jazz Salon @ Mayslake 2012-13 Season/Three-Concert Schedule Nov. 15, 2012 - Willie Pickens Trio A piano powerhouse, Willie Pickens began his career on Eddie Harris' 1961 national hit record, Exodus. Now 80, Willie is more in demand and playing better than ever. Mar. 07, 2013 Grazyna Auguscik (vocals)/Ben Lewis (piano) Auguscik has won the praise of critics and audiences everywhere with her unorthodox approach. Her style challenges traditional definitions of jazz, making her "one of the best voices to be heard today. Jun. 13, 2013 Elmhurst College Jazz Band The Elmhurst College Jazz Band, under the direction of Doug Beach, has gained international acclaim as a truly outstanding collegiate jazz ensemble, having toured 17 nations. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Concerts begin at 7:30 pm Mayslake Peabody Estate, 1717 W. 31st St., Oak Brook, IL General seating: $20/$18 students & seniors Premium seating: $25 (cabaret-style tables in front) Before the concert... A docent guided tour of Mayslake Hall will be offered at 6:30 p.m with a donation of an additional $5 per person. Drinks are available at the cash bar.
