| Paul is the music director at the WDCB. He came to WDCB as a wet behind the ears kid in 1995, and they haven't been able to convince him to leave yet. He became a full time employee in 2001, and continues to keep his office a mess to this day. As music director, it is Paul's duty to schedule music throughout the day, as well as manage the library and to help with the coordination of all things musical. Paul is a frequent sub for vacationing jazz hosts. He can be often be heard on All Things Jazz and Jazz Tropicale. Paul is a jazz musician in town, playing drums with various ensembles, including his own Paul Abella and the X-Large Duo. Paul also writes for Chicago Jazz Magazine. |
